Hello all,

I just got my iPod Touch for Christmas and I've been having problems copying Podcasts to it. I downloaded a few Railscasts podcasts via iTunes, right-clicked on them and converted them for use on iPod/Phone. However, when I go to sync my iPod Touch, I get the following error:

"Episode 86: Logging Variables" was not copied to the iPod "Bryan's Touch" because it cannot be played on this iPod.

Any suggestions as to why this error is occurring and how I can fix it?

Thanks in advance! -- BTR

The formats you converted may be not right.

You iPod touch only supports iPod MP4,MP3,WMA formats.
You should try another video to iPod Converter tools.
You can see some reviews to find a best one.
Or search on google.:)

Yeah, iTunes converts them to mpv (or maybe it was m4v... can't remember) format. Why doesn't it convert the podcast to a format the ipod touch can use?! It knows i'm using an ipod touch! Sheesh...

If you downloaded them in iTunes, shouldn't you just setup your iPod to sync that particular podcast? Do you have to convert anything?
