Problems decompressing files

I downloaded a bunch of music files and when I double click on the zipped files to decompress them they get stuck at the same spots and won't finish decompressing. I did lose my internet connection once while downloading and just restarted them. Could this be the issue? Anyone else ever experience this?

The fact that your connection dropped out could be the issue. Either that or it's a corrupt zip/rar.

The best way around that is to legally obtain your music, or at least rip a CD

No. I pay for my music from iTunes.
