I can email with my .me account but ever since I upgraded to Snow Leopard I can't connect my pop mail to the outgoing Comcast servers. I receive the email fine but I always get the error/choose another server message when I try to send. My web browsing also seems to be dragging a little. Any suggestions?
 
Has anyone figured anything out with this? I'm also having issues with the web browser speed, Lightroom library and my Time Machine backups saying there's not enough room.
 
This is what I found on a thread at apple.com and it appears to work:

Go to "Edit SMTP Server List" from "Outgoing Mail Server" under "Accounts" in "Mail Preferences".

Then go to "Advanced" and in "Use Custom port" enter 25
