I'm really starting to get in to Mac computing (lifelong user), most recently I installed my own RAM on my MacBook Pro and realized it's really not worth the $50 in added charges. Also, I was super excited for Lion and for all the new features.

I haven't done a lot of reading yet about what new things OSX 10.7.1 can do — but just surfing around for my work I'm annoyed that when you open a finder menu there is no longer a data size listing as well as the number of files in the folder.

I have clicked on folders "Command+I" to get their sizes and in the pop-up the data listing does not appear (it displays something like "//-"

I'm a photographer so I juggle a lot of really large files and folders between hard drives and my two machines. I need to know how many GB of space I have on my hardrive at ALL times....IS THERE SOMETHING I"M MISSING HERE?
