problems placing order at apple online education store

I have set up everything to buy a macbook pro at the apple online education store, everything went ok until I get to the required shipping contact page, there are text box fields to type in, one is an area code, the other a contact phone number. I cannot get the area code box to type in all 5 digits of my area code, it stops at 3 digits. Same with the phone number text field, I cannot get the full phone number to type.

I tried this first with chrome, then closed it down, & tried it with firefox, but I had the same problem.
