Problems playing HD on rMBP

Hi guys,

So the past 24 hours on youtube i have been trying to view 1080p/1440p videos of BF4, when I start watching any video it is set to auto which is 720p for me or lower depending on the video quality. Anyway, I try to change it to 1080p/1440p and the video pauses and the resolution says 240p, I then can't resume the video, scroll or restart and have to refresh the page to watch in 720p.

Anyone else having this problem with youtube, I was watching a tonne of youtube videos yesterday in 1080p with no problem what so ever.
