Problems Reading External SCSI Hard Disk in X

I put an old Mac IIci HD in an extrernal SCSI APS, I put on a terminater and hooked it upto my G3 MiniTower. The drive isn't appearing on the Desktop, I tried a restart but nothing...any ideas? I have some SCSI terminater adapters lieing around I'll give those a try. Anyone else have a problem? I'll try the HD in 9 also...

OMG I feel so stupid right now... The SCSI Plug wasn't completely plugged in...The latch didn't catch on haha, you can delete this thread....:rolleyes:
 
You might want to check Apple System Profiler and Disk Utility to see if they detect the disk device. Maybe it just needs to be formatted before you'll see it on the desktop.

Never mind, I just saw your post. Glad it was easy.
