I have backed up my iPhone before using Pkgbackup, and now I would like to restore it. I have tried to restore, but I am not sure how to get the apps back. When I do the restore, all my old sources in cydia come back but how do I get the actual jailbroken apps back?

Ok, I see. What is pkgbackup used for? Will it still keep my app data? For example the blocked contacts for iblacklist

Data will not be saved. you should use AppBackup or something similar to backup your savegame and other settings data. AppBackup doesnt work with cydia apps IIRC, just appstore apps.

Also, ive always had pretty rotten luck with PkgBackup when it comes to restoring a backup. Waste of $8 IMHO. YMMV. I ended up manually re-installing all my cydia apps/tweaks when i upgraded to 4.3.3 recently.

xBackup is another tool that i just heard about recently but Ive never tried a restore with this one.
