Problems syncing Outlook 2013 using Parallels on Windows 8.1

Has anyone here had the problem of IMAP folders not syncing properly on Outlook through Office 365 on Windows 8.1 using parallels.

I had Outlook 2011 on my Mac previously and I had no IMAP folder sync issues.

I am using the gmail server to sync.

I am assuming this is a port issue problem with using Outlook through the virtual machine app Parallels 10.

Any help would be much appreciated.
