Problems updating game with a .sit file

Well, more I must be missing something than a problem but...

I just got Sim City 4 and downloaded the update/patch from the Apple site Here. When it downloads its a .sit file and I have no idea what to do with it. I'm no expert but I have a couple of other games on this mac and whenever I've downloaded updates for them they come as a .dmg and it's a simple click and follow instructions install.

But with this it opens with a load of gibberish/code/whatever in textedit.

Can't seem to find any instructions even after hitting Google, I'm at a loss.

Anyone know how to update this game?!?

.sit = Stuffit file. You can use Stuffit Expander or The Unarchiver to decode it.
