This is going to sound like a bit of an odd one but hear me out...

I've recently installed OS X Yosemite on my high powered video editing PC, and it's running like a charm. Previously I mainly used OS X on my 2011 Macbook Pro in a dock, with external mouse, keyboard, display etc. Now that I've got two 'Mac' systems, I want to be able to use my keyboard/Magic Mouse with both, to which end I've got a VGA/USB KVM switcher working only on the USB ports, and then I've got my USB Apple keyboard plugged into one port and a standard USB Bluetooth dongle plugged into the other. I obviously have to do this for the mouse because A) the PC doesn't have Bluetooth built in and B) my Macbook Pro DOES, but I don't want it continuing to respond to my Magic Mouse while I'm using the other system.

The Bluetooth dongle I'm using worked perfectly with my 'Hackintosh' machine, picking up the Magic Mouse under Yosemite with no problems. However, when I connected the dongle to my Macbook Pro, it didn't pick it up, and on top of that my internal Bluetooth disabled and couldn't re-enable (until I restarted with the dongle unplugged). I assume it was getting confused by having 'two' Bluetooth receivers picked up by the system...?

Is there a way to disable the chipset Bluetooth on my Macbook Pro but have it use the Bluetooth dongle instead?
