Hi All,
I recently have set my iMac to stream my iTunes content from an External HD connected to my airport Extreme via USB. This is working Fine, all I had to do is open iTunes with Opt key & choose iTunes Library file from my Airport/Ext HD (in finder).
BUT... When I tried to do the same with my MacBook, a window pops up saying:
"iTunes file is locked, on a locked disk, or I do not have write permission for this file".
If I go into the HD from the MacBook (ie: Double click on HD Icon) the media files themselves say "everyone -read & write". if I hit the spacebar while file is selected movies play fine via Quicklook etc.
I have tried to add user access through "System Preferences>Sharing" but to no avail. There must be something... probably very simple, that I am missing!
Your help would be much Appreciated!
