Problems using Jam 6.01 with OS 10.4.11

Hi. I have not used Roxio Jam for quite a long time and I just wanted to make a few CDs and be able to adjust the gain levels. Jam used to work well. I have 2 problems. I can't drag and drop music files from iTunes anymore and after I was able to import music one song at a time, I can't adjust the gain levels. What is going on? I trashed the preferences file and restarted Jam to no avail. I have a G4 mirrored door machine with os 10.4.11 and Quicktime's version is 7.6.4.
Can anybody give me any suggestions?
