I picked up a Pioneer DVR-X152 burner (system profiler says DVR-113NP) thinking all their current USB burners would work on the Mac (esp. Pioneer brand drives as they were some drop-in replacements for older Macs I had). However, I'm having occasional read issues, and OS X (10.7) is showing that the burner is only a DVD reader, not the CDRW/DVDDL that the drive is capable of. Since Apple Discussions is down right now for maintenance, I thought I would post here. Any ideas of why this is? Bad bridge/chipset? Drivers (can't find any Mac-specific ones)?
