Problems when SIP is disabled (iMessage, Find my Device, etc)

I found a strange thing in my Big Sur installation/upgrade. Some services (iMessage, Apple Watch Unlock, Find My Device) are stopping working when SIP is disabled. When i reactivate SIP, everything will be back to normal.

Anyone noticed something similar?
 
Here is a weird one: None of my iOS apps will launch on my M1 MacBook Air after disabling SIP. I am going to try to re-enable and see if they start working again.
