Hey all,

when I try to wake up my iMac G5 from sleep everything goes wrong..
I once got a KP, but most of the times it just goes blank.. if I try to force restart by pressing the power button, the fans come up at the highest speed like it's about to take off...

Are there any tricks I can try before bringing it to check if I got faulty ram?

Using 10.3.7

Thanks

Unplug any USB/Firewire devices you might have plugged in and see how it goes.

Thanks edesign.. I tried that tonight but the screen still went blank when waking up and I had to reboot..
So, I did a search in this forum and discovered an application called Rember.. ran all the tests and it reported no problems on my ram..

Is there anything else I can try?

Please, my baby's badly suffering from insomnia! :( :D
