Hi everyone,

I've got a problem with my address book that seems a little more complicated than I know how to solve.

I opened my address book today, and it doesn't show any of my contacts. I also can't create contacts (I click on the little plus sign, and nothing happens).

Obviously there's a problem with the registry. What's strange is that I know that the addresses are still all there because they show up in my Skype, and in Facebook import (from Mac Adress Book).

I tried using time machine, but no avail, I also reinstalled Address Book, and nothing happens.

Please help.

There's no Registry in a Mac - only in Windows!

Have you tried clicking on "File > New Card" ?

Yes, simply put, nothing happens.

It's like it just doesn't know how to read the address book anymore, but it's obviously all there, because it's still being loaded into Skype just like normal, and Facebook can still find it.

The strange thing with the Time Machine is that I load it up, and then I can scroll back in time, and if I scroll forward to "today" again, all of my addresses get loaded back in, but they're gone again once I reload the Address Book.

ॐ Gaurav.
