According to Apple http://www.apple.com/itunes/features/

" When you sync your iPod, select “Automatically fill remaining space with songs.” If you have space left, iTunes will choose a perfect mix of songs and sync them to your iPod. iTunes can fill it using songs from your entire music library or from a specific playlist."

I can see how to select a playlist to fill from, but I don't see any way to select what playlist to fill the remaining space from.

My objective is to have iTunes randomly fill from a very large playlist. So I make a dummy small playlist and then have it autofill from the large one. Only it fills from the entire library. This is NOT what they say it can do, and not what I want.

Any ideas?
