Hi everyone,

So, I had downloaded a few books (epub) that originally have covers. I wanted to change some covers (because I found them a bit ugly and not proper), so I went ahead and clicked GET INFO > ARTWORK, and changed the artwork. Then, I synced my iPad.

But the books covers in the iPad haven't changed. I still see the old covers. The books covers in the iTunes library did change, though.

I noticed this when I go to DEVICES > IPAD > BOOKS:

The light grey book titles are the books that I tried to change the cover of. Isn't that strange? How come the cover change didn't work? And how come these books are now light grey? And what is the little icon next to each title?

Thanks so much in advance.

Similar experience here but with 4.x on my first gen. Only that I've just used iBooks with PDFs and iBook books, I haven't tried importing epubs. I downloaded a book with one cover. The I had to re-download it on iTunes on my computer and the cover had been changed. However, even after countless syncs the covers remained different on both iPad ans computer. I don't know if this is some sort of widespread issue or we are just special :)D), but it is quite strange and annoying. I was going to suggest delete them from iBooks, then re-sync with iTunes? Good luck :), my iPad is in DFU right now so I can't try anything out for a while :D. :apple:

Yep, removing it from my library (iTunes) + put it back did it. Still a weird bug though..
