Hi all,

Am having a few problems with my multi-device syncs.
My Current setup:
MBP 13" Early 2011 with Mountain Lion (Latest updates)
iPad 3 running 5.11

Recently my uni started sending out our timetables electronically and to keep us all synced up they are using exchange as they signed up with MS for our email system.
I have accepted all the invitations etc, however whilst my iPad is able to display my exchange calendar as well as my own calendar information through iCloud synced to my MBP, Calendar on the MBP won't connect to the exchange account (or so it seems) - despite connecting to exchange via the Mail app etc.

Error Message in Calendar:

some background research:
This Guy seems to suggest it is because Calendar is expecting Exchange Web Services, not Exchange ActiveSync which is the only thing available. Is this the reason?
This Guy Seems to be having a similar problem to me as well however he pinpoints it to perhaps GAL availability or more generally a screwup with iCal. May this be my problem?

- Elsewhere on the intertubes it suggests that removing all traces of the exchange accounts from both mail and calendar, as well as keychain, and then a restart will result in this functionality being available however so far it has eluded me...

Any help would be much appreciated!
