When I convert PDF's to MOBI for use with my Kindle, they only use 3/4 of the screen. In other words, all the words seem to be indented 1 more than they are supposed to be. I have a Kindle 3. Is there anyway to fix this?

EDIT:

No one?
I can answer more specific questions if you have them, or provide pictures.

Are there images or something else in the header or footer (or header / footer settings) that could cause this? Not familiar with Calibre but have had this issue before. Am playing with Calibre now based on this post so will let you know if I figure out. :D

If Calibre is not working for you try "Stanza."

Calibre didn't export anything past the title page, Stanza threw javascript errors and upon restart opened PDFs as a bunch of question marks and gibberish.

Sigh.

If I could just get the PDF smaller to send to the DX I'd be free and clear...PDF Shrink doesn't make it small enough though...(I'm trying to send everything by gmail).
