Problems with Clear Incase Snapcase

So, I received my free case from Apple. I know this case has a "flash ring" to attempt to stop issues that some people have been having with certain other cases, but I've noticed a horrid white on most photos im taking with the case.

I've included some photos of with and without the case on so people can understand exactly what I mean.

Is this normal? or should I contact Apple/Incase?

Any help would be appreciated.

Just sharpie the ring and your good to go.

Wow, I'm surprised Apple would include a case (or version of one) that would cause problems when using the flash. Is there a corrected version from Incase?

I ordered the smoke one yesterday (was the deadline for me) and hope it doesn't have the same issue...
