I am having problems with my comcast.net email on my 1st gen iphone. Under the mail app. the only folder that shows up is the indox. I used to see the inbox, trash, and sent folders. These are my settings:

incoming: mail.comcast.net
the incoming server port will not stay on 110, it keeps changing to 995. Should the SSL be on?
outgoing : smtp.comcast.net
outgoing server port is set at 587, and the SSL is on.

Should I complete my user name with @comcast.net or leave the username only?

PLease help I am running the new 2.0 and this seems to be my only problem.

Tks.

If it's any help, I put the full username including the @yadayada.com, so you may want to try that and see what happens..

Tried that, still not working. My wife still has her iphone on the old firmware and her's was just the username. Funny how only my inbox folder is showing up. I also put my yahoo and gmail account on there and only there inbox folder is showing when I used to see the trash and sent in all of them. Would you think one the apps i downloaded be screwing with it?

Ok its working now, I had to reset the darn thing. I never think to do that because I never turn it off.

Tks for the post though.
