Problems with Cydia

It seems like I always run into some app that will freeze my phone then when I restart the phone it stays on the boot screen and i have to restore. Is there something with the phone or the custom firmware that could be causing this or is it a cydia problem?

What app? You on a 3G? I've had no problems at all.
