I used to not have this problem, but it's been bothering me for months, so I'm finally asking if theres something going on here...

I have a Dell Ultrasharp 24" hooked up to my Macbook Pro. When I turn my computer on, or wake it up from sleep, the display works perfectly... However, when I let my display go to the screensaver and subsequently the display gets put to sleep (but not the computer) I will come back to wake it up/stop the screensaver and the display will flicker. It's subtle, but it makes me feel like I'll go blind because of it. Words and images will roll(?) and do the equivelent of visual cracking and popping... It's hard to explain, but I just want to know why my monitor won't return to normal until after I put my computer to sleep for 15 seconds or so and then wake it up.

Runnin 2GB of RAM. Never had this problem when I got the monitor about a year ago.

Thanks.
