Problems with dictation on HTC One.

When using dictation to make a note or send an email the sentences I transcribe repeat themselves on the screen. Also, when backspacing to correct errors the cursor won't move until I press the screen to place it somewhere then put it back to where the mistake was.

It's glitchy in other ways too but that's the main problems I've had.

I'm running the phone as it came with original software, it's all up to date.

It's the only problem I have with the phone, I use dictation a lot, it's near flawless on my iphone / ipad.

I transcribed the above paragraph on my HTC One and he's how it came out -

Any idea's for a solution?

Is this based off the HTC Sense keyboard? I recall having similar issues with the text duplicating itself when trying to erase. After switching to the Google keyboard (Play Store) the problem had since disappeared
