I just bought my first mac in many years a week ago. It's a brand new 2.5ghz Macbook Pro. But When I connect this beautiful machine to my HP f2105 21 inch monitor, the font looks anemic. It appears to have no font smoothing at all. I've gone into system pref and tried all the font smoothing options but none of them seem to do anything. A also calibrated the monitor and nothing changed. I would post a screenshot but any screenshot looks normal on my macbook pro screen.
I'm connecting to the monitor with a dvi cable.
Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated!
