I have problems with adding a second display to my MacBook pro 14 M1 (Ventura 13.1) under the display settings I have no option to add and configure a second display, I cannot connect neither to my iPad pro 11 3rd gen (iPad OS 16.1.1) nor my iMac (24-inch M1 2021, Monterey 12.6 (which I don't dare to upgrade)), even if they are plugged in with USB C. The detect display option does nothing. The iMac can easily connect to the iPad so I guess it's the MacBook causing problems. Is anyone experiencing the same issue? If it's a common problem I assume future updates should fix it.
