Problems with Facebook

I am using Safari 4.0.2 . I was trying to login to Facebook, but yesterday, I got this message that says:
"Safari can’t open the page “https://login.facebook.com/login.php?login_attempt=1” because Safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server “login.facebook.com”."
It has continued to happen. Help!

Reset Safari and empty the cache.
