Problems with Full Screen Apps on Lion on a Double Display Setup

I have my MacBook Pro connected to an External Monitor and I'm running Lion, I love this new feature with Full screen apps, but they make the other screen useless, is there a way to fix it?

I wish I could use one "Full screen App" for just one screen, not one and killing the other.

It's a stupid limitation of Lion's full screen app implementation. I have multiple monitors on my iMac, and I don't like it either.

Do you mean an external monitor and the laptop display or two External monitors (and the laptop display)?
