Problems with Google SMS

I know this is not a google forum. But didn't know where else to take this.

Anybody else having problems with Google SMS today?

I asked for info on Two Fools tavern in Albuquerque. I've gotten about 20 replies, all the same. They keep coming.

I tried sending the word STOP but that didn't help. Any suggestions appreciated.

Late last night I sent the word STOP 10 separate times to google. This seems to have cured the problem.
