*** this is a copy of my identical thread in "Buying tips, Advice and Discussion" - obviously it was the wrong forum, sorry for that... ***
hope this is the right place for my question - searching the forum I didn´t found anything that fits...
Bought a 500GB HDD by Fujitsu Siemens, Storagebird LAN2, an Ethernet-HDD.
AFTER
unpacking I noticed the little remark on the installation CD: "Only WinXP supported"
After connecting the HDD to my macMini via Ethernet the HDD wasn´t found.
Using "Utilities - Hard Disk Utilities" (I´m using a german mini, in german: "Dienstprogramme - Festplatten-Dienstprogramm") the HDD wasn´t found either.
Any suggestion what I can do to use the HDD ?
