Hey
So a friend asked me if i could help fixing his old macbook Pro, the HDD had died and wouldn't work anymore. The problem is that i dont have any backup to reinstall it from, and its a brand new blank SSD. When i try to install the OS it says that i have to Approve the mac, but since its a blank drive with no OS, i dont know how to do it, and i haven't been able to find a way to approve it from another mac/PC?
Can anyone help me out ?

When exactly does it ask to approve the Mac? Can you boot into recovery mode and begin the installation process? The easiest and best option is probably to create a bootable USB drive on another Mac and then use that to install.

It says it at the beginning before the install starts, but im making a bootable drive now, so i think that will work ;)
