Hey folks. While everyone else is enjoying their new iPhone 11 cameras, I am struggling with the two we just purchased. Neither one seem very clear and the colors don't even match between the two. Attaching two comparison shots of two iPhone 11 separate pictures taken at the same time. Both camera lenses were wiped/cleaned before the shot. Overall my spouse was happier with the iPhone 7 plus camera this one was supposed to replace. Have a pending appt with Apple but open to suggestions in the mean time.

Both of those photos are displaying flare from light hitting the lens from an angle. Virtually any camera will exhibit flare under those conditions. That’s why “real” cameras (the lense) have, or have the ability to add, lens shades (lens hood).
Shade the lens with your hand next time to prevent direct light (from the sun, light bulbs, etc.) from hitting the lens from the side.

That was definitely not the cause. That was one example of dozens. And the same problem persisted. The latest iOS update/bug fix resolved it, however.
