Hi all
I'm not sure which forum to post this to, OSX, iPad or iOS - anyway...
I've been having an issue with iTunes and syncing with my iPad 3. Basically what happens is I sync as normal and once it is complete, I then eject the iPad. The problem comes the next time I plug it in again - the photos are shown in the data usage bar as "other". If I try and sync again iTunes wants to double up on the space required - the original photo library shown as other and the photo library again shown as photos. So I very quickly run out of space and can't sync at all.
I assumed this was an issue that an iPad restore would sort out, but no joy. I was planning to do a clean install on my iMac, so I thought that this would be a good time to do this as potentially I might have had an iTunes corruption somewhere that might have led to this.
So I've carried out a clean install on my iMac, set up iTunes from scratch by importing my music. I even set up my photo library again by exporting all my photos from the old library and importing them again as well. I then restored my iPad and set it up as new. I'm on the latest versions of everything.
I'm still having the same problem. I can't think of anything else to try. Any ideas anyone?
