Problems with jailbreakme.com?

I am trying on my phone and it stays at a blank screen with the purple gas clouds and stars after i swipe to jailbreak.

on the videos I saw it showed that it is meant to start downloading, but mine just shows the background.

Any one else have this?

iPhone 2G

Hey,

Does anyone know if JailBreakMe.com works on iPhone 2G?

I'm one of the last hold-outs on the iPhone 2G. I'm trying to make it last for five years. I'm almost at three right now. The vibrator just died, so I have to get that replaced. I still have the $20 unlimited data plan, though!

I had my phone jailbroken, but I installed an app to lock screen orientation, and it killed my phone. Anyway, I was forced to update to 3.1.3 when I restored, and now it is a serious hassle to jailbreak, so I am using the default software.

Any info on the original question would be greatly appreciated!
