I am having problems with Keychain access after accepting Googles offer to add passwords for web apps, and verification for my gmail account.

I got a notification from gmail that there had been suspicious activity on my account, so they had me verify my ID with codes sent to my cell ph.

Ever since then I continually get notices to use Keychain, but when I enter my system password I am told, I have supplied an incorrect password?



I have tried everything including verifying and fixing permissions using Disk Utility.

HELP!

Memory: 2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
OS Version: Mac OS X 10.6.6
