I have already in the second MacBook Pro 16. The first came with a scratch and I changed it. With the second MacBook also what is the problem:
1. Hangs touch panel
2. Caps lock does not work well. About every tenth time is not pressed.
3. Crackling music.
4. Heats up strongly and consumes approximately 20 GB of 32GB when working Illustrator and indisign
Another problem, perhaps, or it's a Mac os. if you press one key for a long time, then your keyboard freezes? For example, if you long press the letter " O " or a bracket.

Does anyone have the same problem? Can I go to apple and ask for a replacement? Because 14 days have not passed since its purchase.

You can return it no questions asked during the return period

I’d definitely get Apple to replace it. I have some issues with mine but nothing like the ones you mention. Sounds like a faulty unit for sure.

The RAM behavior is normal. MacOS "consumes" as much memory as you throw at it. It does this in an effort to speed things up. This way instead of say a temp file being written to disk, or a file you close being removed from the RAM, its kept in memory. I got the 64 GB version and I'm using 38GB as we speak doing really nothing RAM intensive at all at the moment. If you look at activity monitor, 10GB of it is cached files.... so if I open those again, bang, they are there.

Thanks! What about the keyboard? After a long press freezes?

On mine its set to ask you for alternate characters. Like this:

Not sure what that means... Also the heating up thing is probably normal. Just check out activity monitor and see if its running the CPU. You can also download Intel Power Gadget, you'll start to see what it is that's causing heat, fan noise, memory use, etc.

Caps lock has debouncing. So if you hit it twice fast it does nothing. I believe this by design. Also, on mine it is a little insensitive to press at the left edge of the key.

Also, just curious. Do you hit the caps lock a lot? I don't think I have ever used it on purpose.

I also tried a long press (5 seconds) of the "o" key and just got a lot of o's when in an editor. And nothing when just sitting on desktop. If you were in a browser it would has started a search for "ooooooooooooooooo..." and that might do something unexpected.

If hold any key for a long time with your finger, the keyboard freezes after holding and does not work. Until close the laptop lid

Sorry my english is not very good

I clamp the caps lock instead of the shift key, I'm not used to the shift key for 30 years haha

And I have instead "ooooo" is happening hang. The keyboard dies and pressing does not help. I'd record a video, but can't post. Thank you, hope apple will replace notebook)
