Hey there guys

I have a macbook with the following specs:
2 GB ram
160 GB HDD
Intel Core2Duo processor

when i shutdown every day it will do nothing and popup logout has failed because ___ failed to quit.

I then force quit everything, then same problem, except no popup saying logout failed.. so i have to force shutdown which is bad for it.. any ideas?

Open up terminal in Macintosh HD(or your hard drive name)->Applications->Utilities->Terminal. Then type top. Take a screen shot and post it.

I see you are running crossover. It's not using much CPU time, but if I recall, this can be intensive. Everything else looks fine here. I see you are also running two microsoft programs like word or excel. These also can be intensive. Are you completely closing programs when you are done with them?
