iPhone Problems with Mail on iPhone5

Since I've switched to iPhone 5 Im facing serious problems while trying to send emails using MAIL (Gmail acc)

Apparently it gives me the Swoosh sound as the email was sent, however it stays on Sending... mode for a while, MANY TIMES it doesn't send the email at all, doesn't even keep a copy in Draft or Outbox.

I still use iPhone 4S with IOS 5, same account setting- NO PROBLEMS AT ALL

Any idea?

Apparently this is the way that Apple wants it. I personally hate it. I send a lot of email and would rather know when it actually sends since I already know when I hit the send button... I just pressed the button I don't need to know I've just done that.
 
Yes... It so far is the biggest thing I don't like about iOS6.

Mail is broken.

For whatever reason, Exchange Mail won't send when I'm on a wi-fi connection. It used to with iOS5. I find if I have to reply to, or send mail, I need to turn wi-fi off. Clearly this is some sort of bug.

Maybe you can try turning off wi-fi and tell us if that works for you.

I don't know who to turn to so I can address this issue. Apple's silence on this is deafening.

Oh yes - and the "Swoosh before SMTP" thing? I started a thread about it, and it's another feedback topic I sent to apple many times with no answer.

Maybe more of us need to make noise about it before something is done.

Problem persist

I've tried deleting & reinstalling the account several times but no success

IT'S DEFF A BUG. no msg or email App will give you a sound before the task is completely done, not even an SMS!

Hope Apple will come up with a solution ASAP as it's extremely annoying

Until then I guess I'll have to continue verifying each & every email through Sent Email folder

I had several fail to send on my ipad and just completely disappear, but a set-up as new fixed that issue and it hasn't done it since.
 
Apple wake uppp!!

I'm still having serious trouble using Mail on iPhone5

Some of the emails doesn't even sent (nor being kept in drafts) others being sent only after I disconnect from WiFI :mad::mad:

ANY IDEA????
