Problems with my mic (Macbook air)

Hello,

I have a Macbook air, 13 inch. I skype a lot with friends, but at one day, they couldn't barely hear me anymore. They only hear me type and hear the music I play clearly, but they don't hear my voice. Does anybody know a solution for this problem?
