hi,

I'm new on Mac, but I have a question

I have some "lags" or low fps in my new rMBP, especially on Finder and Xcode... is this normal? I know that Yosemite have some problems with this but it seems it goes a bit further than the Yosemite problems

Maybe I overestimated Mac...

Thank you very much. :D

Lagging has been widely reported on the rMBP with Yosemite, I'd say its the OS and not your hardware.

Disable translucency. No one needs gaussian blur and alpha blending being computed every time you move/open a window.

thanks for the answers.

should I give it back to apple and wait for a new mbp? or will this be fixed in future OS updates?

thanks

... in settings.

And maybe an OSX reinstall could help.

The next OSX update is reportedly supposed to fix some lag issues.

I have no idea on xCode though.
