About three months ago I was playing around with adding Mac server to my Mac Pro (running Mavricks) for the sake of trying out remote VPN connections, calendaring etc. I created a new admin account and tried everything in the new account so as to not mess around with my main account.

After setting up the new account and playing with server settings, I realized that my wireless backups (to a airport extreme + WD hard drive) had stopped backing up and the external drive was no longer recognized. It turned out that I had altered permissions and it took me quite a long time to figure out how to get my wireless backups working again.

After that I deleted the new account and thought I would hold off on trying server features on this computer. Once I did this, I noticed that I could no longer access any of the files stored in iCloud on this computer! Nothing for Pages, Keynote or other iCloud using apps (MindNode Pro, etc.). The files still show up on my other devices (iPad, iPhone) and computers, but not on this machine. I tried to reset iCloud on this machine, but nothing works.

I used to be able to access these files and the computer by webdav, but all has stopped. I can still login remotely via afp and vnc, but that's it. Can anyone help with this problem?

Cheers,
Cez
