I have a macbook pro february 2011, and for a while now I have noticed a faint white mark appearing on the screen. The actual screen is all fine but it just sits their like a faint white line. It now affects my ability to look at the screen when it is dark, mainly when watching movies. I have read around and believe it is the bit between the trackpad and keyboard that is imprinting on the screen when the mac is closed.

has anyone else had this issue? what can i do?

What do apple do about this? Is it a design fault or just my mac? I have not previously put any pressure on the screen so their is no reason for it to warp...
