problems with software update

So, I have a keynote and pages update pending in the app store which won´t download because I don´t have the IOS 5.1 software update. When I try to search for software updates under settings, it takes a really long time searching for software updates and then tells me that it´s unable to search for updates and that I need to try later. I´ve tried turning it on and off with no luck.

Any advice? It´s annoying

OK, thanks! That's all right, then. I'm not in a rush, was worried that my Ipad was the problem.
