Hi guys.

Since I installed my Samsung 830 SSD I have problems getting the macbook to standby mode.

I usually use the "CMD-ALT-Eject" Shortcut to get the MB to standby mode. When I do so the screen gets black and the little LED-indicator lightens up. Then it goes to standby for maybe one second and wakes up again showing my login-screen.

Sometimes I have to try it several times until it actually goes to standby and stays like this and sometimes (rarely) it works right after the first try. Veryannoying!

Magic Mouse, but disabled function that bluetooth devices can wake up my computer

Any suggestions? Thanks a lot :)

Have you tried it with the bluetooth off, just to make sure that the Magic Mouse wasn't waking it?

Does closing the lid have the same effect with the off-and-on?

Yes I tried with bluetooth off. Same issue. Whether I close the lid or use the shortcut also has no effect. Sometimes it works - sometimes it doesn't.
