Problems with streaming media from Safari

I'm having some trouble with streaming video, I somehow managed to make it so Quicktime opens in a separate player instead of in the browser and videos won't play through it. I'd prefer to be able to use Realplayer to view the video but I'd settle to have it at least open IN Safari.

Can anyone help me fix this?

What kind of streaming video? If it's WMV you'll need to download and install the plugin for QuickTime called Flip4Mac.

If your videos are in Real format, then do you have RealPlayer installed?

Yes I have Flip4mac and I do have Realplayer installed. I tried changing the media settings so that streaming video only opens in Realplayer but it still goes to Quicktime, which isn't really a problem as long as it loads in the browser itself instead of in a separate player.
