Dear fellow macusers,
The day after the launch of the 2011 model MBP I got mine, and i'm really happy with it for 99% of the time.
But the problem is that, when I'm at home and I use an external monitor (HP 2510i) at 1920x1080 resolution and I switch to my television (Panasonic 37PV7 at 720p) the image is flickering and in the wrong position.
The other weird thing about this is that if I switch back to my monitor, the same happens to the image on the monitor. I can only get the correct image if I restart my MBP before switching cables.
The monitor is attached by DVI through a MDP->DVI-adapter (from Apple) and the TV is attached by HDMI through a MDP->HDMI-adapter (from Vivanco).
I've already tested it out with my friend's laptop (13" 2010 MBP) and he doesn't have the same problem I'm having. Also the people at the Apple Store couldn't help me with the problem.
Hopefully anyone here can help me.
Thanks in advance.
