Problems with the Toshiba 7200rpm 50gb harddrive

So I ordered my 50gb Toshiba harddrive on friday. however, i got a call today from the shop saying that of all the ones he's sold so far, almost all of them have been returned on the basis that they overheat. At first i was just going to hope he had a crappy batch and just buy from a different vendor, but I figured I was too lazy to take risks and send back a harddrive if it indeed WERE overheating. Thus, unfortunately, I had to order the 60gb 7200rpm hitachi drive. Basically i'm just writing this as a heads up to anyone considering the Toshiba drive. Let's wait on some more results...

And another quick update, I tried to buy the site at a couple other places and a few listed it as "discontinued." I would recommend that nobody buy this until we get the real story with this drive.
