I've been unable to burn any DVDs on my aluminum MacBook with Toast 9 or Popcorn 3. I was worried that it was the SuperDrive. I tried burning with Disco and it has worked fine. It just hangs on "Preparing" and locks up. Is anyone else having the same issue? I've read on the Roxio forums that some people think that it's because it's a SATA drive in the new MacBook.

this happened to me once
but it was because I was low on Memory and I was multitasking

hasnt happened since

I don't think that is the issue because I've upgraded to 4GB. What kind of superdrive do you have in yours? It burns CDs okay it just can't burn DVDs.
